Here's a collage of some of the pensketches I've been doing on my way to work lately, trying to capture the wide arrange of people I see on the train, subway and tram.
I started 'subway sketching' after stumbling into the blog of Bobby Chiu and his Toronto sketchgroup, check it out sometime, inspiration guaranteed! :)

Vette sketches, die doe ik ook altijd onderweg naar school, of naar mijn ouders of whatever :) Een goede oefening! Hoe lang doe je hier over? Ze zijn namelijk best gedetailleerd :) Keep it up!
Junaid: yeah, it's a good exercise, and fun to do while on the train or waiting at the busstop:) Haven't been caught sofar, I usually draw people that are at least 10 meters away from me to prevent that :P
Artoonator: thanx man! Lifesketching is en blijft de beste manier om dingen op te pikken, en een bron van inspiratie voor characterdesign :)
Tom: meeste sketches zijn van mensen op perrons waar ik met de trein langsrijd, dus ongeveer de tijdsduur die de trein stilstaat langs elk perron :) Tussen 1 en 4 minuten schat ik? En soms lukt de scribble ook niet hoor, maar die crappy sketches scan ik naturlijk niet in :P . Tip is om alles direct met pen te doen, het forceert je om beter te kijken :)
