Windy Vilage - Development sketches

More painted stuff coming up soon, but in the meanwhile, here's some stuff from my sketchbook.
These pensketches were done as visual development for a village i'm currently designing, which is turning out to be alot of fun! Done with my 0.4 Micron inkpen, greyscales done in Photoshop as usual.

I hope to find time to follow up these thumbs with some colored versions soon, so stay tuned :)

Thanx for looking,
-Edwin

ooh this would be cool: you could draw ropes attatched to the houses like the people inside were trying to tether themselves down from the wind!!! any ways its pretty awesome!

  12. These are really good. I'm taking a Gothic Novel class right now and imagine all of them to look like your drawings. Keep it up, you're really talented!
